a commitment to safety.”

The 5 Laws
 Of
Lash Application

it is essential to follow best practices that ensure safety, precision, and client satisfaction. at dermalash esthetics, we have distilled the most critical principles into five fundamental laws. these laws guide lash artists in delivering the highest quality of service while protecting the natural beauty and health of their clients' lashes.

Law 1: Prioritize Client Experience

providing an exceptional client experience is paramount. prioritize your clients' comfort, satisfaction, and overall experience over making a sale. build trust through attentive service, personalized consultations, and follow-up care. a satisfied client will become a loyal client, valuing the quality of your service above all.

Law 2: Proper Isolation

isolation is the cornerstone of safe and effective lash application. each natural lash must be isolated to prevent discomfort, damage, and potential long-term issues like alopecia. thoroughly sift through your work at the end of each appointment, ensuring each lash can move freely without sticking to the skin or other lashes.

Law 3: Respect the Inner Corners

the inner corner lashes are delicate and require special attention. never use extensions longer than 9mm on these lashes to prevent damage. using shorter lengths not only protects these fragile lashes but also enhances the overall styling and appearance of the set.

Law 4: Limit Extension Length

extensions over 15mm can be too heavy for most natural lashes, leading to stress and potential follicle damage. keep extensions within safe lengths to maintain lash health and achieve dense, thick sets without compromising the integrity of the natural lashes.

Law 5: Use Glue Sparingly

excessive glue can cause heavy, uncomfortable lashes and lead to poor isolation. use the minimum amount of adhesive necessary to ensure good retention and avoid stickies. proper glue usage ensures a comfortable and lasting lash experience for your clients.
