INTRODUCTION

welcome to dermalash esthetics, your trusted provider of high-quality beauty tools. we are committed to ensuring the satisfaction and peace of mind of our valued members. this instrument assurance policy is designed to protect your investment in our tweezers, offering coverage against functional damage under specific terms and conditions.

ELIGIBILITY FOR INSURANCE

  • activation period: insurance must be purchased either simultaneously with the tweezers or within 30 days from the date of tweezer purchase. this allows you to decide on adding insurance after experiencing the quality of our products firsthand. however, the coverage will commence 30 days from the date of the tweezer purchase, regardless of the insurance purchase date.
  • product requirement: insurance is available for tweezers purchased directly from dermalash esthetics or authorized retailers. proof of purchase with a dated receipt or invoice is required.
  • geographical limits: insurance coverage is available only to customers residing in u.s. canada and mexico, where dermalash esthetics is authorized to offer such services.
  • transferability: the insurance policy is non-transferable. it applies only to the original purchaser of the tweezers and cannot be transferred to another person even if the tweezers are sold or gifted.
  • age requirement: policy purchasers must be at least 18 years old or of legal age to enter into a contract in the jurisdiction of purchase.

COVERAGE INITIATION

insurance coverage begins 30 days after the purchase of the insured tweezers. this start date applies regardless of the date when the insurance is purchased, provided it is within the 30-day window after buying the tweezers.

 

example: if you purchase your tweezers on june 1st, and then decide to buy insurance on june 15th, your coverage will still commence on july 1st. this approach is designed to standardize coverage start dates and simplify understanding for all our customers.

INCLUSIONS

  • mechanical failure: includes failure of the moving parts essential to the tweezers' operation.
  • structural integrity: covers any bending, breakage, or significant deformation of the tweezer tips or handles that affect usability.
  • performance decline: includes gradual deterioration in performance where the tweezers no longer meet operational standards set by dermalash esthetics.
  • material fatigue: covers damage from normal material fatigue under regular use conditions, excluding cosmetic issues.

EXCLUSIONS

  • cosmetic damage such as scratches, discoloration, or surface rust due to negligence.
  • loss or theft of the tweezers.
  • damage resulting from misuse, alterations, or repairs not authorized by dermalash esthetics.
  • damage from natural disasters or extreme environmental conditions.

CLAIM INITIATION 

Claims Must Be Reported To Our Customer Service Team Within 30 Days Of Damage Occurrence. Download And Complete This Form, Instrument Assurance Claim Form. The Form Must Be Accompanied By The Original Purchase Receipt, Photos Of The Damage Item, And A Detailed Account Of The Circumstances Under Which The Damage Occurred.

RESOLUTION 

valid claims will result in repair or replacement of the tweezers. the choice between repair or replacement will be made at dermalash esthetics discretion based on the extent of damage and the cost-effectiveness of repair versus replacement. the total process time is estimated to be 5 to 7 business days, excluding shipping times.

upon receiving your claim, our dedicated team begins a thorough assessment to determine the necessary steps for resolution. this phase involves verifying the claim details and evaluating the reported damage.

 

day 3-4: client communication

you will receive a detailed update about the assessment results and the next steps. this communication will outline whether your instrument will be repaired or replaced, based on the nature and extent of the damage.

 

day 5-7: white glove instrument service maintenance

our skilled technicians will perform the necessary repairs or prepare a replacement unit. all work is carried out under stringent quality control standards to ensure your instrument returns to you in optimal condition.

 

instrument return service

after maintenance, your instrument is meticulously prepared for return. each item is securely packaged to prevent any damage during transit.

 

notice: shipping times will vary based on your geographic location and the chosen shipping method. we strive to expedite shipping wherever possible, but please anticipate additional days for delivery, especially if you are located outside major urban areas.

we reserve the right to modify the terms of this insurance policy at any time. all changes will be communicated through direct notifications sent via email to the email address registered with your account and will also be updated on our website’s policy update section. please ensure your contact information remains current to receive these updates.

CANCELLATIONS

you may cancel this insurance policy within 14 days of purchase for a full refund provided that no claims have been initiated. to cancel your policy, please submit a cancellation request through our customer support team directly at contactus@dermalashesthetics.com. refunds will be processed to your original form of payment within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation request.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

if you encounter any discrepancies or disputes related to your insurance claims, please first contact us at contactus@dermalashesthetics.com. we aim to resolve all issues amicably within 10 business days. if a resolution cannot be reached internally, the matter may be escalated to arbitration as per the laws of california, detailed in our terms & conditions.
